Indoors

Leave Dangerous Locations

• Stay away from exterior walls and windows,

and cover your head.

• Move from higher floors to lower floors for protection.

Outdoors

In Urban Areas

• Seek immediate shelter in the nearest building.

In Open Space

• Drop down and assume a protective posture.
• Use bridges, underpasses, or drainage ditches, etc. for cover.

In Vehicles

Able to Exit the Vehicle

• Enter the nearest building for shelter.
• Take cover and assume the protective posture if no buildings are nearby.

Not Able to Exit the Vehicle

• Lower your body below window level and protect your head.
